What to Wear!

There’s nothing sexier than a woman who knows how to work her assets. The problem that we plus-sized girls sometimes run into is where to shop and not come out looking like we got into a fight with a tent, with the tent winning! Here are some of my favorite places to shop and still look fabulous:
1.      Maurice’s: This store has major love for the +14 crowd. And there seems to always be a sale going on.
2.      Deb’s: I have found some of the cutest items in this store. Plus their formalwear is perfect for those special occasions.
3.      Lane Bryant: Yeah, they’re pricey, but they are designed just for us!
4.      Jessica London: If you’ve heard of Chadwick’s then this is their plus size side.
5.      Metrostyle.com: I have seen some sexy, hot, amazing outfits and accessories from this company, and they have a lot of it in +12.
6.      Torrid: Now if you’re on the dark side of things, you can find just what you’re looking for in this place.  It’s the plus version of Hot Topic. Go get that corset and rock it proudly!
7.      Avon.com: Yeah they are known for their make-up and anti-aging system, but did you know they have some killer clothes too?
I also had to ask around, and find out the other hidden jewels of fashion. Some of the places I was told to check out were:
@SexiVixenfromMD:
1.      Cato: sometimes has nice things
2.      Ross
3.      Avenue.com
4.      Justmysize.com (it’s worth a look. You know they cater especially to us!)

Introduction from the editor

Hello World! Welcome to the first official entry! If you’re wondering what this is all about, I’ll fill you in now. I am a devoted Cosmopolitan™ reader. But one of my biggest pet peeves was not finding models that looked like they took more than one trip to the Bakery, skipped the gym, and was still confident with their *ahem* shall we say curves. So with the help of some fabulous people, like you and other friends, I’m about to make it hot! So are you ready to open up this bag of goodies?
Shaking it proudly,

Miss Floessence
